PREVENTION
Health Check: Each insured patient should have a general health checkup every two years (mainly to detect diabetes, hypertension, dyslipoproteinaemia/hypercholesteremia), as well
as an examination of the skin ( to detect common skin cancer, i.e. melanoma). Men should
have a preventive examination for diseases of the prostate gland at least once a year.
We also offer other checkups in our practice that we highly recommend, so please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Every year in February, and September, and upon demand in May, we offer a weight

OTHER DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES:
ULTRASCAN- (abdomen, kidneys, blood vessels and thyroid gland), ECG- normal and
under physical stress (Ergometrie), measuring the blood pressure for 24 hours, Allergy tests. Psychotherapy for psychomatic disorders are held by appointment.
LYMPHOLOGY- we are specialized in diagnostic and the therapy of lymphological
disorders after surgery or hereditary.
BLOOD ANALYSIS- We take blood samples every day from 7:45-10:30am, and the
results are ready the following day. It is possible to get an analysis of the blood sugar and the urine during the entire office hours. For these anaysis, please ask us in advance if you are
able to eat or not beforehand.
Electrocardiograms and a test of the lung function, are always possible without an appointment.
VACCINATIONS: Please let us check your vaccination status. It is highly recommended
that every ten years (for some vaccinations even earlier) you should get a booster vaccine.
We start giving flu shots at the end of August each year, and for this no appointment is necessary.
